A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

A creative and professional communications manager, editor and proofreader who is motivated and organised with a wide range of experience spanning more than 25 years. I make complex stories simple and bring clarity to research and articles for news stories, web pages, brochures and annual reports. I help charities and companies communicate their story through engaging copy.

I started my career in trade publishing holding a variety of positions including Editor, Managing Editor and Content Editor for titles in the telecoms, business and manufacturing sectors. In the charity sector I have been the Communications Manager for the benevolent fund, GroceryAid, and the children's charity of rugby, Wooden Spoon. In these roles my responsibilities covered external and internal charity communications, branding development including the creation of new websites, print publications and optimising the use of digital channels.
