PRICING

There really is no one-size-fits-all approach to any proofreading or editing project. However, as a guide my rates are:

• Editing/writing projects - £275-300 per day (based on the scope of work requested)

• Proofreading - £12-15 per thousand words (based on the complexity of the document, turnaround time and whether references need checking in academic/research papers)

Before providing a quote it would be helpful if you can provide:

• An estimated word count

• The schedule for when you expect to send the work and the return deadline

• Information on the service you require: if you are unsure, we can discuss this but it helps if I know your expectations before starting out

• Some additional details about the work: for example, is it a case study, a research/academic paper or an annual report? Has it been written by one person or is it multi-author? Are the authors native English speakers or non-native?

 

It would also help to see a sample of the document, but I can provide an estimate based on the above if you don't want to send the sample until you know I am available.

Unless requested, all quotes are in GBP and are to be paid by bank transfer to my UK bank account.
